Canine Nutritionist & Day Care Manager
Shay, co-founder of Lucky Paws Doggy Daycare, holds a Level 5 Diploma in Canine Nutrition and is currently advancing her expertise with a BSc in Veterinary Bioscience and Biology. Her foundational knowledge is supported by a BA in Marketing and Business and specialized diplomas in Animal Welfare and Canine Care in Professional Day-care and Boarding Management, as well as Canine Health and First Aid. Having led the Lucky Paws branch in London for nine years, Shay’s expertise in canine nutrition and business management has been instrumental in our expansion to Surrey. She combines scientific knowledge with real-world experience to ensure all dogs receive optimal care.
Kate & Harvey
FOUNDER
Veterinary Physiotherapist, Behaviourist and Trainer
Kate, a co-founder of Lucky Paws Doggy Daycare, is a certified Veterinary Physiotherapist and Dog Behaviourist with a first-class BSc (Hons) in Physics and a PgD in Veterinary Physiotherapy. Her professional credentials include membership in the International Association of Animal Therapists (IAAT), INTODogs, the International Companion Animal Network (ICAN), the UK Behaviour and Training Charter, Pet Industry Advocacy International, and the Pet Professional Guild UK (PPGUK). Recently appointed as Chairperson of INTORescue, Kate has a significant impact on animal welfare globally. With over 25 years of experience in behavior and rehabilitation, Kate brings a wealth of knowledge to her role, expertly addressing the varied needs of dogs at our daycare.
